>>59021564No, you're supposed to have six Pokémon representing 12 types all being high tier. They need their optimal abilities, good natures, EV trained, and good IVs with egg moves, and they need to be in a specific ball with an appropriate trait (ie. proud of its power Lucario because of course Lucario would be proud of its power) and you can't use items in battle unless they're held items and you need a following Pokémon so you can pretend to be Ash and all your Pokémon need to be found really early in your playthrough which is why the older games are so bad since you have to gen your parties (still gonna spin in the autism box for the next 400 hours while playing four GBAs for shiny hunting tho)
