This event is godly for me. Not sure why everyone is excited about the wild legendaries, they’re are all easy enough to get through raids. I caught a hundo rotom, a female salandit, heaps of glimmets (for the mega), the ultra beasts and I hatched a shiny azurill. The game should always be like this, minus the wild legendaries.

It's literally an event to get you to spend more time into the game by giving you false hope to get some good shit.
Also:
-the only hundo global spawn where the genies and the dogs for 2/3 of the times ,the rest were mostly ho-oh's and some minor legendaries like heatran
-most of the spawn's were at night or in highly isolated areas

Out of 50 encounters between sniping and incense's,i got zero shinies,and caught only a shiddy galarian moltres and a 8/13/13 zacian, always with kyurem buff + golden razz + ultraball.

Based on my experience, I'd give this kusogé event a solid 3/10 , where 3 is the times i almost broke something out of frustration while playing and 10 are the bugs I'm gonna put in hanke rectum without mercy or vaseline.
Seriously tho, what's the point of this bitch ass event if they have such abysmal catch rate and immediately flee 9/10 of the times.

For something to qualify it has to be manmade, and it has to be more than a merely functional. It can't just be a house, or an apartment, or a streetlight, or one of those low voltage boxes.
It's a "know it when you see it" kinda thing.

That being said. Your odds of having something that qualifies nearby are way higher than you think. And that's because trailmarkers get accepted.
Pic related is an example of one that I made and got accepted last year.

Just be sure that there are no visible people or license plates on the picture, that it's not blown out by the light of the sun, and that you're reasonably close to the object.
Also there must be a pedestrian path to the object.

go back in time to when the feature was added and start working on it then to autocomplete with way above 10 when the jirachi research hit like I did

Get 10 Pokemon you want to be best buddies with and put them in a tag.

Each day feed them, play with them, take a picture and fight a Team Leader in the practice function three times (you don't need to win). This will get you six hearts per Pokemon per day.

Repeat this for 50 days.
