Okay I'm really losing it now, where are all the recipes to make the basic blocks all the towns are made of this is killing me.
Being at environment level 5-9 in my areas and still having to fill in holes with dirt because I dont have recipes for a single block anything is made out of is killing me.

Crafting sucked in ACNH because you had weapon durability so you were frequently wasting time making the same stuff over and over. Crafting here is much less pronounced because you can mass produce things you need like building blocks, and most importantly, you don't NEED to craft everything, this game rewards scavenging and exploration, so if you see a bunch of things you think would look nice in a home, there's nothing stopping you from just picking them up and taking them with you, in fact this will be the primary way you get new stuff for a good while.

If you don't like the building, you don't need to engage with it either, the game has prebuilt structures and houses that you only need to gather materials for and have your Pokemon create for you for a wait time, my current strat is just finding all the stuff I need, micromanaging my builders to create homes, then vomiting out the furniture for whoever I move in and moving on.

The nice thing about this game being a blend of Animal Crossing and Minecraft is that you can engage with however much of each side as you want, there's no real difference in using prebuilt homes vs making them yourself, so can safely ignore the stuff you dislike and play as you want.

you can take up to 20 pictures that contain compatible objects, and use them at the 3D printers in pokemon centers to exchange pokemetal bars for a copy of the object

There's also a chance to meet a legendary at the bottom of a cave on a dream island.
I THINK you have to finish the story for an area, but each of the normal pokedoll island types (all except substitute and ditto) has a legendary that has a low chance to pop up in the dream island, who you can then take home and move into a place of your choice. There's Hoenn's Legendary Beasts, whatever legendary that's on Clefairy's island, and (super story spoiler) Mewtwo.
You can also get Kanto's Legendary Birds from Palette Town, and Mew from finishing the Mysterious Slates.
Legendaries are great for getting areas to enviro level 10, since just having them living in an area boosts the XP gain for it.

just focus on the withered trees at the start and water them.
you get seedlings for the trees later but it takes a bit. also when you fully cut down a tree you get the seedling back but that's only useful for relocating.
i guess if you already got driftlon and the first doll you could also take the trees from the dream island daily.
