Most people will say Platinum/HGSS/B2W2 for their postgames but RSE might have the most amount of content in the main game
There's so much new things you can discover and explore before becoming Champion whereas other games lock the cool stuff (or the second half of the game) behind postgame

probably Platinum or BW2. good variety of Pokemon, good pacing (relative to other Pokemon games at least). the other games suffer from lack of Pokemon variety (first 3 gens), dogshit pacing (SM), or just from being a mediocre game (XY, SWSH).

ive always found it kinda cool how the "postgame" in rse/oras kinda starts after the legendary event, i honestly think it works better that way too

in terms of campaign, gen 1 and 3. for content, i put the most time in emerald and platinum for ribbons and the battle factory

BW2.
But if we allow for randomizers, I'd play SM or HGSS.
