You pay, and do the bare minimum, you get your degree.Trade programs are also mostly not influenced by this, since most of them aren't really self-important enough to be anything beyond a certification of competence to work in a particular expertise-requiring field, but it can occasionally factor into admissions. Bit of a "most people can achieve this with focus and a desire to do so, access is the controlling factor" situation. Though, it is also the case, that such programs tend to be more valued by minority groups in the first place, which also has an influence. That's usually more just an issue of how much meth you intend to have with your certification though.
