Diamond and Pearl are. Platinum is fine. I used both to complete the dex and the difference is baffling.

This is a good thing. Platinum out of all the Pokemon games symbolizes the feel of a slow burn adventure the best. Going through the snowy landscape in route 216 / 217, traversing Coronet, Route 227 just to name a few things are the peak of Pokemon
