>>59038710I'm particularly a fan of Eeveelutions that are immune to its counterpart typing. Espeon and Umbreon being the first example of this. Normal and Ghost can be interesting because on paper a Normal type Eeveelution sounds lame but if it has interaction with a cool Ghost type Eeveelution it can make it more interesting. Flying and Groud could also be interesting because we don't have very many pure Flying types.

In fact there was going to be a Flying type Eeveelution for the Alola region but it was scrapped because it looked too similar to a fan design.If that is truly the reason then I don't see us ever getting another Eeveelution ever again because Eeveelutions are supposed to obviously represent their type and there's only so much you can do with the standard Eeveelution body type plus obviously looking their typing. Not unless they make a new type or make regional variants of the current Eeveelutions or something like that.

I thought that'd be weird since that'd make Ho-Oh the only box art legendary but makes sense that the third one would be Ho-Oh's counterpart. Also would make sense to have Ho-Oh be the leader of the legendary birds and that dog looking Silver-themed legendary to be the leader of the legendary beasts.
