HGSS is a phenomenal game, the best Pokemon game even, and it's not particularly close, but it's dumb that when they censored the slots for Voltorb Flip they didn't bring over the shop that lets you buy coins.For what it's worth, it's a great motivator to learn Japanese, so you can play this game as originally designed.

I don't understand why you'd prefer slots, can you explain the appeal? Voltorb flip is actually fun, some you can work out and sometimes it comes down to an exciting gamble, marking the ones not worth opening and deducing where the voltorbs are. The satisfaction and thrills seem way better than just stopping spinning wheels and hoping you win.

I'd say the chances of winning in Voltorb Flip (if you can play it) are pretty equal to the slots in previous games though, so I think I prefer them for their simplicity.
