Did Pokopia really need to be the canonical post-apocalypse? It's kind of depressing to know how the pokemon world ends, and that every new region/game will eventually lead to that.
It's cool.
>>59041261They can always say it's one of multiple possible timelines if they don't want to commit to it
Pokemon has multiple universes and some of them are doomed. ORAS already told you this.
It's okay because humans are just living in space waiting for the planet to be livable again
>>59041261pmd rescue team was also post-apocalypse but i don't see you complaining about that>it's non-canon!and pokopia isn't?
>>59041402>>59041429I hate multiverseslop and that's a fact
>>59041577Pokémon has been multiverse the very moment it started existing, retard.
spoilers below WiWa will take place after the events of Pokopia
>>59041583...and? also who said otherwise?
Multiverses are inevitable when making a series as long, old, and convoluted as PokemonAnd there's nothing wrong with that
>>59041261we're already known the pokemon world ends in disaster since usum brodon't tell me you never caught guzzlord?
>>59041598Then why do you play Pokémon?
>>59041261Who gives a shit, autist
>>59041737apparently you cared enough to reply
That Terastalized pepe is amazing
>>59041261Not every timeline is destined for an apocalypse. Whatever happened before Pokopia could be unique to this timeline.>>59041429>Pokemon has multiple universes and some of them are doomed.Examples?>any timeline the team leaders in USUM came from (RS, DPPt, XY) Wouldn't count RGBY and BW, as those aren't apocalyptic, but dystopian>Pokopia as LGPE future
>>59041735>playing pokemon
>>59041577Well we're only exploring one universe in one game now are we
>>59043166Are we?
>>59041261>It's kind of depressing to know how the pokemon world ends, and that every new region/game will eventually lead to that. And this is why every mainline game has dogshit writing
>>59043550>>59041583
>>59041429>multiple universesNonsense
>>59044023So Red and Blue and Yellow take place in the same timeline?
I heard Dragon Quest Builders was based on the bad ending of DQ1 where the Dragonlord wins. So it does seem likely Pokopia is a similar situation, a what if scenario.
>>59044073With Pokemon being a multiverse it can easily be assumed this is just a possible outcome anyway
>>59041261It could be a possible distant future for all we know.
>>59041261They should make a terastalization hat pepe for every type
>in the pokemon universe humans achieve space colonisationBased Pokéaryans.
>>59041830The guzzlord world in ultra space
>>59041402>>59041429>>59041577What's crazy about the multiverse thing is that, all things considered, Pokémon had (and still has) a rather consistent timeline. It appears to just have been a self-soothing thing for GF so they could justify some retcons that most players don't care about like why the Close Combat used to be super-effective on Clefable (notice Gen 6 is when it got pushed the hardest).
>>59041830>>59044660All the Pokemon in Violet becoming hostile robots
>>59041261it's kind of depressing to know that our world will end since corporations treat it like a toxic waste dump, and we didn't even have real pokemon to enjoy in the meantime.
>>59045894muh le evil corporations?
>>59044036Irrelevant. There's no such thing as absolute time.
>>59046457How do you intend to prove that to me?
>>59046477bend over
>>59046501So you can't prove it?
The idea of dead misty makes me hard
>>59046477Start herehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introduction_to_general_relativity
>>59046529Done.Now prove your claim to be true.
>>59046529Actually this is a more pertinent articlehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dilation
>>59046561>"These predictions of the theory of relativity..."So these are predictions of a theory, which itself has yet to be proven true using the scientific method?I don't see what this "proves".
>>59041261>canonicalthis word carries no weight or meaning in the pokemon franchise
>pokemon has multiple endless universes>pokemon has one unbreakable canologyYou're both wrong. Pokemon is a double helix of things gaining and losing canon on a whim. Think Ash Greninja, went from not being canon, to being canon, to losing it, to who knows what. It's more Schrödinger's canon.
>>59046193as opposed to le good corpos? after you lick those boots clean, shove 'em up your ass
