what do you think sports communities are like in the pokemon universe
do you have people blowing 10 grand on championship matches because they seriously thought leon wouldn't lose to some up and coming trainer who only got their first pokemon last week
like surely every time you beat a champion in the game there's some unheard of massive blowout behind the scenes
