It WAS a thing, but whether they're still progressing with production is another matter entirely. There's been no hint of it starting or being in production, while we have confirmation Legends: Galar is still in development and can surmise the recent Kurasu (or however it's spelled) entering production to be WW DLC. My guess is because it wasn't in development when Teraleak happened, they cancelled it, rather than be predicted (like how they started pre-production of Legends: Johto, before pivoting entirely with region and era of setting).

The project didn't get cancelled, rather they changed era and focus. There's no word of Seed still being on the table. Might be, they cancelled it due to it being unfeasible. Or it got ganked because some sperg stole a fuckload of data and due to not being in production, it was easiest to actually kill outright and move on. We won't know the veracity of the WW leaks from Teraleak until after it releases (which is still over a year away and will have had 3 years in between Teraleak theft and WW release). But if the released game differs in any fashion largely from the Teraleak info, we can assume they changed it as a result of TL which would confirm Teraleak's impact affected in-development games. May as well settle in and get comfy. We got a ways to go yet to see the eventuality we're heading towards.
