Why has loving Gen 5 become so controversial? I loved them back in 2010 and I love them now.
It was already getting hate on day 1
I regret hating on it back in the day. I am almost always slow to acclimate to the next generation. I remember thinking it was stupid and I just wanted to stick to heartgold

Gen 5 was the first generation I skipped and I went back to it later but it didn't leave a big impression aside from N. I don't think it's bad but I don't understand the praise on this website.Funny enough though, I ended up really liking Emboar and I was excited to pick it in ZA.

speaking of remakes, would they redo the Dream World mechanics? I doubt they want to host a server just for a game for a couple of years and shut it down. I don't remember if the original DW got shut down due to generation V was ending or the Nintendo DS/Wii Wifi servers were being culled in 2013.
