Since Pokopia is a success, (and NewSnap was well received as well) how likely is TPCi to experiment more with normal, non mobile garbage, spin offs
>>59051959If anything they'd go back to them because the gaps between games are getting bigger again. If you aren't interested in gacha or live service shit there's less games to keep you playing nothing but Pokemon between main series releases now.
>>59051959What game is that on the right? Also where did you get that image?
>>59052693Holy newfag.
>>59051959I'd like to see more, we all want a new Conquest
>>59052703?
>>59052703Been waiting all his life to say this
>>59052710funny because both Pokopia and Conquest were made by Koei Tecmo
>>59052710no I'm good.
Bring back Pokken but make it a traditional fighting game with multiplayer on a single machine
>>59051959Pokemon Pinball would probably be released as F2P, because who is paying full price for a Pinball spinoff?
Just put them on nsoWHERE THE FUCK IS GALE OF DARKNESS NINTENDO, HAS BEEN HALF A MONTH
>>59051959Its weird that we dont have a big budget pokemon racing game or musou yet when it seems every franchise has at least one of the two as a spinoff
>>59051959They'll become spiteful and refuse to greenlight any for another decade like they did the last time a spinoff was successful.
>>59051959An uptick in spinoffs is likely, but expect them all to be "comfycore" games since the current trend says that's what's successful (Pokopia's record-breaking sales by spinoff standards and New Snap's very generous standings overall) in these recent years.
>how likely is TPCi to experiment more with normal, non mobile garbage, spin offsVery fucking unlikely, considering Game Freak are the sole cause of Pokopia's existence and TPC wouldn't pay for full size carts to put the game on. TPC are unlikely to "return" to carts, because it costs them more money in the end, their spin offs do NOT sell (It took Game Freak teaming up with Koei Techmo for a TPC spin off to finally sell a couple million in 4 days). Ishi don't WANT to make any new games, mobileshit earns him all the money he could bother with.
>>59053236Mobileshit's also a dying breed in Pokemon's case. GO isn't the monolith it used to be, TCG Pocket's only successful because the physical TCG is literally untouchable to the average western consumer, and all the other mobile games are just doing "ok" in terms of profits.
>>59051959I hope so, Pokémon has a ton of potential in several different genres, and I'd also like it if they were allowed to be more challenging than the main series. Like an action Pokémon game would be cool.>>59052693I think it's Pokémon Ranger.
>>59051959I don't think they're going to increase the production of their spinoff games.
>>59052703How am I holy? Are you religious?
>>59053246Anon, they're all part of the biggest multimedia franchise on the planet, which has been growing an audience for the last 30 years and continues apace, with plans to farm more people incoming. GO's still earning hundreds of millions a year and I need to ask, are the profits on the other ones "ok" for pokémon standards, or "ok for the wider mobile game ecosystem as a whole". Because if it's the former, that's still magnitudes above the "average" mobile game and the latter points to there being enough of an audience to ensure they keep tabs with the rest the shitters in the space. As much as you WANT the mobileshit to die, there's enough casualniggers gonna keep playing to ensure that won't happen (never mind povvos in shitholes that won't be able to afford a Switch 2 for WW's launch and won't have an emulator to rob it for).
>>59052693pokemon ranger guardian signs
>>59053353nta but first time I ever heard "apace" instead of "pace" or "at pace", thanks for the new vocab.
>>59053353Anon is delusional. Go is still hugely popular and Pocket remains a top grossing game over a year later. Champions will be the first time said povvos have access to the turn based formula through legitimate means and will also be enormously successful.
>>59051959I'd like them to try spinoff concepts that they haven't tried yet, like a standalone Contest game that plays more like an actual talent show, with themed costumes and performances, and more interactive than press move to appeal. I'd also like them to try a hub-based Mystery Dungeon MMO with no communication features of course, to protect the children. And if they're gonna make a new Pinball, they'd better dedicate a few tables to the gens they skipped over. They OWE us.
I want a spinoff where you are in a recently colonized region and you need to develop and manage your own gym. Tycoon game but Pokemon. Your customers are the trainers that battle, you want the gym to be challenging but not impossible and you want the theme and puzzles to leave trainers satisfied.
>>59051959>>59051984They claim they don’t like to repeat things to keep things fresh. I doubt we’ll get a sequel for this game anytime soon. They’ll keep alive with shitty events for 6 years
>>5905195910 MILLION DOLLARS TO POKEMON REFRESH
hire Firaxis or Intelligent Systems for a new Pokemon Conquest gamehire Monolith for a new Pokemon Ranger gamethere i just made you millions of dollars
>>59051959Id like a new Ranger or Mystery Dungeon game personally
