Currently replaying Fire Red after two decades, and nothing in the newer games even compared to how cool it is to sneak into Team Rocket’s bases and sabotage their operations.

I’m not talking about the villains, I’m talking about how you don’t feel like you’re essentially doing the impossible task of putting the villain team in their place. As in, fighting them feels like a challenging gauntlet, and you have to enter their stronghold well prepared with a good team of Pokemon.
In newer games, it feels like a total breeze, so easy you wonder why no one else bothered to do this.

It’s a mafia org in poke japan, and we have a yakuza org in poke paris, who the fuck cares if any of the characters have melanin or lack it.
