Why did they never make a third one?

Because spin offs make less money than mobile games
>>

Only good games get trilogies

The long and short answer is that if the spinoff isn't making money (i.e.; making more percentage-wise compared to the cost of making it) then they cease funding for that spinoff.

Mystery Dungeon is never coming back. Super dug its grave, and DX buried itself when nostalgiabaiting didn't work out for it.

Soulful but boring games. They have zero challenge

3 would've had to release on WiiU, a dead man's console, and also the series sold like ass. 1 only barely broke 1M, while 2 could only break 750M. For TPC, that's not good enough to justify commissioning more of that series, they're always looking for the next spinoff that can match or dethrone Stadium.

the first game was really good, did all the missions up to the mew one, they dropped the ball with the second thoughhh
>>
>>59064074
No, not even close. It didn't even reach the originals.

They should've made a Pokémon Channel sequel that used the Wiimote as a literal TV remote control.
