>>59065715In gen I it's deceptively good, even for competitive. Perma-Slash, wide array of special moves and Thunderwave make Persian a hipster Tauros. Obviously Tauros has overall better stats, but if you're afraid of... dunno, a Tobybro (Withdraw/Amnesia Slowbro) then Slash will let you ignore defensive boosts.
