Were you a fan of Annie, Oakley, and Bianca?
I'm currently watching all the Pokemon movies as I had only seen the first 5 or 6 when I was young. Heroes is visually the best looking of the first 5 (but not the strongest plot wise). Some legit really nice looking background stuff especially and yeah all three of the new girls are cute. Wish we got more of Annie and Oakley at some point.

After a re-watch last fall? Still no. Movie 5 is significantly carried by Latias infatuation and is a noticeably lesser movie if you happen to lack it. It just so happens to be one of the prettiest in the film series as well so it is obviously still going to rank pretty well even with that handicap.>>59074362>Next movie is pic relatedEnjoy! I've seen a few of the later ones, but always years later. I've rewatched most of the old ones, but never in sequence or anything. Plot wise I think there is zero question that Mewtwo Strikes Back mogs every single other Pokémon movie. It was just made with a different spirit than the rest.It's also very good visually, though its style is... different, than regular pokemon, and I can absolutely understand being offput by it. Comparing the other pokemon movies to it is pointless, it's just the best. Mewtwo Strikes Back is a good movie, no strings. The rest are just Pokemon movies. I haven't seen the Zarude movie, I suspect that one is the worst though, not even Gamefreak cares about fucking Zarude.I refuse to watch the nu-gen regurgitation/memory hole attempts of the old movies.I suspect bias has strongly influenced by opinions of Heroes and 4ever. I was depressed as fuck for 4ever because my dad had just deployed and that definitely tainted the experience, and I remember that mindset whenever I watch it. Heroes, meanwhile, I developed a crush on Latias, that was my first strong crush. So, that also taints my memory.

>>59074341The main problem with Bianca as a character is she exists solely as the inspiration of Latias' human form. A form more attributed to Latias than Bianca herself. Even when they returned to Alto Mare in the anime they did a quick glimpse of Bianca and then did a glamour shot for Latias.
