Asked this on the previous thread, but...Pokemon shrink through their own biology and Pokeballs take advantage of this instinct. This shrinking extends not just to every bit of flesh and bone, but also stuff like say, Tinkaton's hammer, Dhelmise's anchor, Farfetch'd's leak, all that. I guess we can assume that the many Held Items apply too.So, how does this work, when they're not part of the Pokemon? Do you think it's possible via similar mechanisms or instinct to shrink items seperately from the Pokemon wielding them? Like maybe Tinkaton stores its shrunken hammer in its hair but can take it out and expand it? Since the shrinking comes from the Pokemon and not the ball, clearly it is the Pokemon's biology or capability that allows the tool or armament to change size as well.

I want to have a genuine, proper and serious discussion about the Type Chart, it's mechanics, why advantages/disadvantages are as they are and last but certainly not least More specifically, about how Types are categorized and discovered.Sure, we all know the Fairy Type gets discovered by MC-kun, and how silly and dumb it looks and sounds in hindsight, and it was retconned as well, but it was something that undoubtedly happened once. So for gen 1 games the intensity of steel, dark, and fairy type was so low in those regions that they didn't seem to even exist. This caused a sort of temporary 'regional variant' effect to apply to pokemon like Magnemite and Clefairy where their type changed without massive phenotype divergence. Then for some reason (magnetism shifts, plate tectonics, Arceus farted) steel and dark type intensity rose to such a point that pokemon and moves were scientifically measurable by gen 2. So its possible that fairy type existed in Hisui because it's intensity was high at the time before later waning into seeming nonexistence in Sinnoh.

Honestly, I would just be suspicious normally but the summary mentioning Oberon's motive make me certain as otherwise I'd be more likely to guess something along the lines of Oberon's motive being wanting to fuck or romance a legendary pokemon and all the main characters only coincidentally getting caught up in his quest due to the research of Kuzey's parents, with Tania being another top operative.But the backstory with Tania and Hugo just lines up way to well with the motive mentioned in the summary for me to ignore it.Also the narration hides Oberon's gender, calling her an it, but 90% of the time a character having a hidden gender means they're a women. The other 10% is split evenly between them being a man, or them being genderless.
