People bitch about Delphox getting Levitate, as if turning a weakness into an immunity isn't highly valuable or that Mega with a significantly better stat distribution that Mega Charizard Y and typing really needs a 156 BP STAB Spread move, but Greninja got the worst one.After the nerf to Protean, the best way to use it now is by avoiding the type change as much as possible. Either using Choiced items, or in Cinderace's case using Pyro Ball/Will-o-wisp until you need to use a different move. Meowscarada using non-Choiced items is exclusively pivotting around using only U-turn and Triple Axel for coverage.Why it sucks for Greninja is because it can't use Sword Dance or Nasty Plot, 2 tools it'd otherwise love to use. Additionally since it needs to hold a Mega Stone, it's less effective as an offensive pivot since it takes hazard damage, and can't negate the Protean nerf with Choiced Item
