Either the artist just let someone else name their Beetle mon after Crickets, or they designed a Cricket, a bug known for its chirps and themed after instruments and musicians

I had forgotten that the Japanese name had this error but look at Kricketune's body shape and tell me it doesn't resemble tbe beetle with it oval shaping and long, thin neck.
