Mega Sol seems pretty good on paper so far, even if you leave aside no-charge Solar Beams>Weather Ball immediately and consistently becomes Fire-type, combine that with 50% Fire-type boost from ability>All Sun-benefit, Rain-nerfed attacks can be used to their fullest potential in Rain, so you can have your cake and eat it as the rain is up to reduce everyone else's Fire-type attacksSo, Rain team usage I assume? Who would potential teammates be? Do you think versions for the other three weathers will exist? Granted realistically it'd just be a Rain equivalent.
>>59092970Weather Ball doesn't get the 50% sun boost, it just becomes a 100 BP Fire move
>>59092970the equivalent is walking wake who is a water type that functions in the sun
> Synthesis Full heal>Nasty Sword BoostWill it work defensively like take near-nothing from water?
>>59092980*non STAB
>>59092980damnnit, Meganium doesn't get any Fire-type coverage that is boosted by Sun huh? At the very least it if it gets Growth it could do something.>>59093012The wording seems to imply no?
>>59092970>Weedle used Poison Sting!
>>59093023it gets weather ball tardo
>>59093027Poison is not a relevant attacking type
>>59092980Source?
>>59092980solar beam is demonstrated to be unaffected by the rain in the trailer, as it oneshots politoed which isn't possible if the rain were halving its power like normal.from this we can determine that meganium's ability applies during damage calculation, and thus weather ball is 150BP for it.
>>59092980Judging by the wording in the website, it should get all the bonus from Sun:>type changed to fire>100BP>50% bonus (a fire move in Sun)So 150BP Fire move
>>59093027>implying Mega Meganium will be so overcentralizing that people will be forced to bring a shit type specifically to counter itWhat a compliment
>>59093127Which one? Gengar? Dragalge?
