There are quite a lot of other ones but these are some of the most well known examples from gen 3 and 4 at least. Even in less difficult ones, its always nice to see when they give regular trainers some special moves; one of my all time favorite recent experiences while playing Pokemon recently was getting my Aron BTFO by a Zigzagoon with surf on route 109. Felt like stepping on a landmine planted decades earlier that I somehow missed on my countless earlier playthroughs. It was cool to discover something new after all these years.
