>>59106654The problem with that quote is they literally play favorites rather than fairly subjecting all 1000+ mons to the standard.Charizard got slimmer and more practical limbs compared to its original fat and stumpy arms, and Mewtwo went from looking like a freak to looking like the cool, marketable kind of unnatural that won't gross anyone out.That's not even getting into Pikachu which literally HAD to change its design for the anime's sake, and there's other mons who only got cooler as time went on as well.
