Basically, I really wanted to use certain mons like Zigzagoon and late game water types on my Hoenn team, but I never end up doing so because there are so many other, better mons of those types that fit more easily into my team plan based on availability, stats, movepools, and all that. So I decided I'd do a run without planning a team, just kinda using whatever I come across until I come across something else that replaces it. Playing like a normal person would, essentially.
