Don't trainer feel any guilt for taking away wild pokemon from their families? Imagine a mother caring for her child until suddenly a trainer throws a ball at it, captures it and then runs off.

You're right I should knock out the rest of them while I'm there
>>

The Pokémon are the ones who jump out at trainer, so the Pokemon presumably is already ready to leave whatever family they had
>>
>>59107117
What if a trainer finds the ones that aren't ready?
>>
>>59107146
You can't find them in the tall grass

Gen 5 could have addressed this if the story wasn’t lazy dogshit.
>>
>>59107151
Gen 4 addressed this already.

If they're smart enough to have families that miss them, they're smart enough to not jump out at random people to attack them.

It did.

There's also a line in ZA where the people who take care of the Pokemon in your "PC" aka the ranch tell you that the only thing separating a Pokemon from the wilderness is a single wooden fence, and that they stay around because they want to.

It is literally mandated by god for Pokemon to be captured by humans, there's no argument in the series that Pokemon want otherwise, and any argument for that is just pointless conjecture probably already handled by some random filler episode in the anime.

I mean given Arceus's track record its not exactly the paragon of virtue
>>

While I do recognize the plight of Regigigas I'd still say word of god or not, there's still enough evidence to support the idea that Pokemon just want to be with humans.

Thats just from the protagonists rose tinted perspective. The truth is theres no shortage of terrible people who have conditioned their own mons into tolerating abuse. Ghetsis himself is ironically the perfect example of this but its not like you have to be a literal super villain to be an asshole

You know. I wouldn't catch my pokemon in a Pokeball. That's literally peasant shit. I just walk around with my six Wailord trailing behind me wherever I go.
