Bax is good but in terms of snow teams not only is it a big sign that says "rock slide me", but it also doesn't even want to fire off blizzards because it'd rather use physical attack. It being a mega also ironically makes it lose the Loaded Dice tricks it liked before. Meanwhile Abomasnow is outclassed by better TR abusers. Froslass has all the appeal Alolan Ninetales did last gen but with the extra speed, special attack, and fake out immunity.

>>59111452It is just the defense boost, but that boost goes a long way. You’d have to deal over 150% to Bax to OHKO, 75% to 2HKO, and 50% to 3HKO. And the more turns you need to KO Bax, the more times it can attack or set up.

That way he can click Glaive Rush off of a base attack stat 5 points lower than Mega Fug, going last to keep himself safe from the double damage penalty, and click Ice Shard on the next turn to disable said penalty.140 base Special Attack for Mega Lass is very good, but a 110 BP move off a 140 base is just not comparable to a 120 move off a 175 base in terms of shitting on you, especially since it takes a 75% reduction due to being a spread move. Lass has good speed, if she can go first and OHKO both opposing mons by clicking blizzard it's definitely scary, but I don't think she's got quite the power to just be a delete button like that.
