None of that's in the leaks. Most of what was gutted was post-game like Team Flare's new base, and even then that was probably partially reworked into the Emma storyline we got.

It feels painfully generic, like they just put in the skeleton of a pokemon game but without an interesting story or flavor. A backstory like this would of given it the depth it desperately needed.
