Will Gigantamax forms ever come back? What are your favorite ideas for new Gigantamax designs?

Yeah, with how popular Megas have been since their return (despite what veepee contrarians would have you believe), I think Gamefreak is going to bring these type of gimmicks back when they thematically fit. It’s just another thing to keep in their back pocket to bring people back.

>>59111909We already know they're coming back because of Legends: Galar sometime in 2028-2029 (depends on when Winds & Waves DLC drops, whether it was also pushed back or had to stay on-schedule similar to Legends: Z-A), and then they'll get added to Champions to make their mainline return.
It's honestly pretty sad how most of these are outright worse than just normal Dynamax.

Just retcon Gmax and Megas into the same power up gimmick. They’re Megas when not near power spots, and Gmax when near power spots.

I do find it a bit amusing how batshit insane some of the Gmax forms are. Orbeetle is a UFO, Duraludon is a skyscraper, Alcremie is a wedding cake, Meowth is fucking longcat. They definitely couldn't get this ridiculous with megas.

>>59115768Probably the ones where the normal max move is just a debuff for a useless stat like attack, special attack or speed. So dragon, bug and normal. But there aren't actually a lot of these ones. Off the top of my head Butterfree and Duraludon. Normal of course Snorlax is good.The main problem is the terrain and weather ones and stat boosting ones being too good. I feel like g-max moves should just also have the normal effect on top of it.
