She could have also had a pokemon like a gyarados which is just as powerful as the members of her team and common in sinnoh but she doesn't, her team is perfectly manicured to her tastes which to me is suspicious.Steven doesn't seem to benefit a lot from his wealth since his team is kind of meh other than metagross and even if you argue aggron is powerful, it isn't rare and neither is skarmory.And say what you want about lance but he still had to prove he was the best of his clan all of which had the same opportunities he did, and we have an example in clair who's kind of a loser and far more deserving of being called a nepo than lance.
