If they hypothetically redid Onix's stats to match the design, then for any future Brock fights, it'd be cool if they just made some dinky low power Rock special move Onix could spam off his assumed to be dogshit Sp. Atk, kinda like how the Totem Vikavolt fight had it be physical because an actual Special Vikavolt with Charjabug allies would make it way too strong,

Bide can actually trip you up. It's fast enough to outspeed most things you'd have against it so it will have 1 turn of you likely using an attack.. Now you gotta weigh if you survive the x2 hit or not
