Its got an awful opening with how long it drags the tutorial, then is a ton of fun, then you wish it was like an hour shorter. The DLC is really mid but will get you every single shiny with the alpha mark you could possibly want for Champions.

i haven't played it yet. i'm sure i would get some enjoyment out of it, but the idea of the entire game taking place in one city, where the map is smaller than even one biome in PLA and you can't enter most of the buildings in it, that's just absolutely vintage gamefreak. yeah it seems like they did some cool shit with the combat but the rest of this sounds totally half-assed to a point where i would not feel comfortable paying even close to full price for it.
