I find it interesting that fanart of pokemon and characters is usually drawn off-model, with such huge tits and exaggerated proportions shaping the contours of the lower body. It's a little bit ironic that people can like a character for characteristics that they don't actually have. But maybe it makes sense if you consider them to just be avatars to project your desires on. Basically just adding some flavor to a body with huge tits and ass.

If a person has an artstyle, characters conforming to that artstyle is fine. Eltonel is my best example of most of these. A lot of the designs end up off model, but conform to the overall style of their work, and are still quite identifiable as the original character.But, that works because there's a very solid identity of that style.
