In regular battles they are invoked like a kind of weather that lasts several turns and their regular battle usage is from a consumable item like Rotom Powers did; basically they work the same as Rotom Powers where you forfeit any other action that turn for your active Pokemon in order to use a power.Late/Post-game extra twist is Z-moves are back, reason is box legendary or that procedurally generated mon is in fact a Tapu (or their cousin) that got lost from Alola during a storm and ended there stranded with some Z-Crystals in tow
