The English word chosen for this move I mostly associate with "leering at someone in a lewd way", which... In some scenes, without context, pausing the screen... Maaaybe, kek. So still kind of great I guess kek3. he almost did that once with AshBoth "Take Down" and "とっしん" (running towards someone/something in one go or something along those lines) fit4. Finding a 4th move for him that isn't related to punching something "because he looks strong", or Shadow Ball/Hyper Beam as a meme/"because his Pokemon use that move" was a struggle.In the end, I found that both Endure and Bide sort of fit his personality, moreso Bide than Endure (from what was shown in the anime, anyway). My reasoning is that he seems to be reasonably patient and cool-headed. Example: At the end of the meteorite episode, a grunt was apologizing to him for their operation failing and, instead of acting upset or lashing out, Tabitha was chill and replied something like>mistakes are part of experimentsWith Bide, you patiently let shit happen to you, then attack twice as powerful. It's not *quite* the same as learning from failure & making something better because of the experience, but... It's kind of similar? Dunno, works for me

Barely gained more than 4 points and often lost most of them before the round ended. The sole reason he kept getting ribbons were those stellar preliminary results, kek. So yeah, shit moveset in terms of actual gameplay. Secret Power (which I don't think works with these other moves at all) & Camouflage definitely should've been Fly & Smokescreen.Tabitha on the other hand did good. His moveset was fun to play: Bide at the start so no shithead startles his first 2 stars away (a given since he always started out first), Take Down when he's farther down the list/no risky Pokemon behind him, Leer whenever the appeal gauge nears getting full after his turn (since it's a Cool move, it plays nice in Tough contests - you don't gain nor lose stars. it doesn't raise the appeal gauge either, and neither do the opponents' moves in this entire round because everyone is too busy looking at my cool husband to notice them. wish I could live there). Thief whenever the mon before him had potential to do really good, so he could gain most of what they've gained. It was genuinely fun strategizing & predicting with these moves. His attack performance was usually good to great.I'll have to look up some more realistic values for contest stats, definitely redo Brodie's moveset and try that again sometime. Or maybe I'll just cheat in some berries and make the blocks myself. I always enjoyed that mini game so might as wellMildly related: I never play Pokemon in English unless it's a hack.
