while I am more a fan of pichu and raichu, I have no particular animosity towards the yellow mouse. From a marketing perspective he was an excellent choice of mascot since he can fit both the cute and cool sides of the coin for universal appeal and the design is a merch maker's wet dream.

They must be kicking themselves for undertuning Pikachu so fucking much. It's weaker than every base form starter in the series and doesn't reach the same heights as Marowak or Clamperl with their held items
