>>59135988I wouldn't say most. I've never heard about wolfey in smogon, but he's been around since the dawn of the VGC circuit, so it makes sense that he played smogon formats before VGC existed. But he didn't leave much of a mark there, AFAIKThe OG smogonite that moved to VGC was Nails IIRC. I know a fair lot of VGC players also play smogon doubles, but in this case it's the other way - DOU is the "change of pace". Sometimes I also pick my VGC team and test how far it goes in DOU until I reach 1500. It's shocking how easy is DOU low ladder, sometimes opponents forfeit in t1 after succesfully setting trick room

These are the ones who were the tech immigrants in the 90s and earlier, maybe went to college in the US or UK. As it became easier to immigrate, the lower classes, which are darker and what people think of as the typical indian who scam and H1B spam with diploma mills in india came over. They’re essentially two different races if you want to look at it that way. It’s like indigenous argentians vs. german-argentians who came over after/during ww2 but there were laws segregating them rather than just curtural differences and typical racial relations making interbreeding less common.
