Interesting. The questionnaire feature for your PSS profile is already programmed in. I wonder why they had already done it so soon

o-powers werent even in the shape of an O at the time. It was just a triangle

none of the amie minigames work. They just freeze the game upon selection

you could go behind the houses in vaniville town. The camera angle also changed to a top down view. Removed in the final game

an npc in vaniville was originally meant to teach you about some new features added in x and y. Also removed in the final games

I have a masterball in my inventory. I will use that to waste turns. I will win the battle by getting shauna to use struggle and faint
>>

ok, so i didnt go thru with that plan. But i made an interesting discovery. Perhaps its just the battle with shauna in the prototype, or maybe it stayed until the final game i dont know. Regardless tho, from what i tested out here, the battle is fully pre-planned out.

Every move, secondary effect, min/high rolls and crits are predetermined when the battle is initiated.
I tried to get her to burn my exeggutor and save stated right before she used ember. Every time i reset, it always did exactly 2 damage, no burns and no crits.

I then proceeded to waste more turns, and she followed the exact same move pattern. I then decided to see how these battles are determined and it seems to be a seed thats set right as the battle is initiated. Everytime i went to an earlier save and reinitiated the battle, she used a different pattern of moves, however when resetting in the battle itself, she kept using the same move pattern

I spoke with on of my friends, about this. He theorized that maybe the real-time-clock is what is determining the seed each time the battle starts, and it isnt the battle itself, but the time of the emulator

Thanks for sharing this.

This is a different name for Fennekin than the final one. it translates here to “Firefox” so the name is probably a placeholder as well as the model

All pokemon get a generic name with numbers differentiating its evolution stage.
