>>59140861It's more a metagame thing; Mega Froslass is really good and they match up really well against it. Plus now that tera is gone it's suddenly a lot harder to make Excadrill lose turns or suddenly gain resists without having to switch.Of course I can't discount how Rillaboom not being in said pre-champions metagame as it isn't confirmed yet is definitely a factor, but even with it they're still a very dominant combo.
