this is the next step in their stress test to see just how low effort a game they can make with the pokemon name typed on to it and still see a massive ROI. bare minimum budget, schedule, and fucks were given in the development of this game, and if it flops who cares they lose practically nothing. if it sells well, then now they know they can go even further.
