Got my Liechi Berry and some Wynauts out of it.So now what should I do in Gen 3 now? I don’t have enough Hoenn games or buddies to do contests, I don’t have a third wireless game for DoTrio Berry, I don’t have Leafgreen and the guy I traded with in 2021 had the same starter and no post game, and I’m completely out of box space so unless I can get my hands on Pokémon Box no team breeding.Should I keep trying the rental Frontier? I’ve got a silver symbol.

You don't need perfect contest stats to get the master rank ribbons, so I'd suggest you go for that, at least for your Pikachu that got you the mirage island proc (maybe the cool contest?), I'd suggest the champ ribbon as well.You could try and get feebas/milotic if you don't have one already.
If you’re curious every time you talk to the old man in Pacifilog it checks your IDs and if it matches that days roll you get the island. It only checks party mons so a full team is about 1 in 10 thousand.The ideal strategy is to save at the Pokecenter there, grab 6 mons, check and reset. In about two hours you can check all 14 boxes for about 1 in 144 odds(if you fish tentacools after you can push it a bit higher). My luck was ass and it took 2 and a half years to get one. Thus Pikachu in Box 13 was the one who triggered it so I renamed him in honor. (It being Pikachu is odd I only have two of those huh)And yes I finished the Hoenn Dex. I found a guy with Sapphire at a coffee shop in 2024 and he gave me Lunatone and the trader NPC
