I hate him.
You shouldn't. He was the one who brought the IP to the global juggernaut it is now. Get on the people who really didn't know how to manage the IP once it got big after Gen I. He did his job.
I hate them.
>>59149344Me in the left corner of the bottom-right shelf.
>>59149651> He was the one who brought the IP to the global juggernaut it is nowSo it’s his fault this franchise got bloated with secondaries who ruin the franchise and get all the pandering after Genwunnerss get their full, while real fans starve and get actively shit on?
>>59149846That's the issue with creating a franchise: Once it grows big, you need people to manage it. Making the games is one thing, but the anime, the merch (The big one), the cards, the toys, all of that needs someone to manage them properly. You can't blame him for being a businessman, he simply did what he did to ensure that the profits came in. GameFreak isn't the handful of fans that struck gold with Pokemon anymore - they have to consider all the facets of the IP.>while real fans starve and get actively shit on?I want you to explain what a real fan is, what it is that they're not getting and what getting shit on is. And you need to use your words. Take your time.
>>59149804Post paws
>>59149344You already know my most hated character is Avery.
>>59149876A real fan is someone who like ariados. We arent getting mega + gigantimax aridos, and getting shit on is being shown disrespect by the CLOWNS at gamefreak.Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
>>59149651Pokemon didn't NEED to instantly expand into a multimedia abomination, though. No one at GameFreak asked to be stuck making Pokemon for 30+ years, and because they've become so reliant on Pokemon due to Ishihara INSISTING they branch out into multimedia, he's created a franchise that operates on a soulless, greedy, self-loathing initiative. It would've been better if Pokemon was actually allowed time to grow into expansion proper, but instead it was all so much at once so fast that it became this mass profit venue that meant GameFreak could NEVER stop prioritizing Pokemon, even more so when the lads at NoA started networking HARD to make sure Pokemon could be a smash hit in localization too, creating Poke-fuckin-mania in a way that made Power Rangers blush.
>>59150812Adding onto this, that pressure is why Tajiri threw his hands up and said "that's it, I quit" when he couldn't complete Pokemon 2 by his personal deadline, because now it wasn't about "haha, wow... can we really do this before we go bankrupt? (sweatdrop)", there was inherent need to GET ER DONE as quickly as possible before that anime with that dipshit kid using his namesake got done romping Kanto and needed to move onto the rest of PokeJapan (later downscaled to just Johto) to keep mirroring the games, and you can't just STOP the weekly juggernaut unless another Porygon-level incident happens because then the MONEY stops. It's gotta be done NOW NOW NOW it's gotta be done YESTERDAY because you CAN'T STOP THE CASH FLOW.
>>59149344such an ugly little rice farmer
>>59150793In terms of fanservice and rosterpicks i think pokemon overally does a pretty good job especially compared to other nintendo franchises like fire emblem.
>>59149651You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
>>59149344He always kinda looked like Jackie Chan to me
>>59150793>A real fan is someone who like ariados>We arent getting mega + gigantimax aridosA real fan would want an Ariados evolution. I would have responded sooner, so I apologize. But I see that it wasn't worth the wait.>>59150812>>59150817This why 'fans' should never do official projects or work with big corporations, you really don't get why a business needs to be a business. Those two western animators what worked on One Piece are a prime example.
