Lillie deciding the best way to cure Lusamine from Nihilego's toxins was to take her to fucking Bill in Kanto because "he once merged with a Pokemon" was one of the stupidest things ever. Just blatant Kanto pandering at its finest; how would that little mishap (which was quickly resolved by a random 10-year-old pushing a button on Bill's computer) even be such common knowledge? So much so that Lillie, some girl on the other side of the world, would not only know about it, but go "Yep, that'll fix my mom!"That being said, how do (You) think the situation should have been resolved? What would be the best way to cure Lusamine of Nihilego's poison if Bill in Kanto wasn't an option?
>>59157916Maybe Bill did it multiple times? Kantonians are known for being stupid.I mean, the smartest guy in Kanto can't even remember what sex the neighbour kid is, or the name of his own grandson.Maybe that's why genwunners relate so much to the region.
>>59157916I honestly don't mind since Bill is a once in a generation genius. He literally just casually invents time travel in gen 2.
knock out the Nihilego and then relentlessly breed Lusamine while her upper half is stuck in the jellyfishthe flood of hormones in her brain will cure her
Imagine being bill and telling lillie you’ll cure lusamine but only if she agrees to marry you
>>59157916Everyone knows you’re supposed to pee on someone who’s gotten involved with a jellyfish
>>59158492This is not true, and I'm going to start peeing on people who continue to sustain this falsehood.
>>59157916Make some bullshit up about Nebby/Necrozma’s Psychic typing being able to fight off Nihilego’s poison.
>>59157916Her mother's infected by some kind of horrible space poison. I'd say her best bet would be to try to journey into various sacred spots in the wilderness to try and find Celebi who might be able to purify her mother like what happened with shadow pokemon. I feel like that would make the most sense and have an interesting story where Lillie has to hunt down possible leads to find CelebiIf you want to be silly, maybe instead of cleansing the poison, find a way to make her immune to the poison. Lillie takes command of the Aether Foundation to start developing technology to turn Lusamine into a cyborg and give her an artificial brain since steel is immune to poison.
>>59158813When I made this thread the Celebi shadow Pokemon thing is actually what I was thinking too. Celebi purifies the shadow Pokemon by essentially rewinding time on their minds to how they were like before becoming shadow Pokemon, and the flood of good memories reopens their hearts. But I wondered if that would work or not since Nigilego's poison would still be in Lusamine, so I think she'd just immediately "relapse" into her insane state even after Celebi "purifies" her. So they'd have to find an antidote to Nigilego's toxins before they could try to undo the mental damage to Lusameme. Wonder how you'd go about finding an antivenom for alien jellyfish goo
>>59159229>Wonder how you'd go about finding an antivenom for alien jellyfish gooProbably the same way as in real life no? It's been some time, but didn't Mizuki catch like, 4 of them? If they can somehow get hold of the poison itself, just inject a very, very small quantity of it into a mudsdale or something, then use the resulting antibodies it creates to make the antivenom.(sure, with the amount of antivenoms we still don't have, like against the famous tetrodotoxin, I suppose that's not a sure fire way to get antivenoms, but it's probably our best shot)Or we can also just assume the Pokémon world has better technology, and they wouldn't have as much trouble making such antivenom.
>>59160197you don't get the nihilego until the postgame and it's strictly optional, so they'd have to work it into the story sooner and ensure that you have to catch one nihilego to advance the story, which isn't too farfetched since i'm fairly certain you have to catch lunala/solgaleo to advance the story (i've never not captured them first try so idfk what happens if you fail)
>>59161047That I do remember, since it was part of that Lila post game mission. But being originally from Kanto, it should be no problem to go back.>"Mom, I'm going to visit dad or something, be back by dinner.">"Dear, it's a 7 hours flight to Kanto, no way you'll be back by dinner." >"That's true... Bye anyways."She would probably still get to Bill's house before Lillie.
>>59161047>i've never not captured them first try so idfk what happens if you failForgot to comment on this part, but that's another thing I do remember, that I accidentally defeated Lunala, but it just went back to the overworld so you can just start the fight again.
>>59158456>Imagine being Bill and telling Lillie you’ll cure lusamine but only if her clefable agrees to marry youftfy
>>59157916What if the fusion resulted in Lusamine permanently merging with Nihilego?
>>59162220whoa that isnt lusamine
>>59162668because lusamine not tied to pheromosa.
>>59162747that isnt pheromosa either
>>59162668It's Lusamine junior.
