Why are the scores so low? Is it because the game has an optional "push this button if you are a retard who doesn't value your money" button? Because that never stopped people from sucking off the shitty mainline games for the last few years.

>>59158241Deserved. This was the perfect time to drop a modern Stadium game, and they dropped a live service platform for competitive play instead. All I want is a place to use my shitmon in gimmick battles and minigames. Even better if it earns them a few ribbons. And outside of fucking BDSP, there's not a lot of that to be found on Switch.

My gripe is that PvP is already catered to, by default, in every game. Meanwhile, ribbons and battle facilities have gotten the short end of the stick for over a decade. The ribbon part is weird, considering the addition of titles. And the facility part seems like a massive oversight with how trivial it has become to train strong mon. In theory, the barrier to entry is the lowest it has ever been, and there's at least some semblance of flavor text / bragging rights you can earn with titles.
