i think the only mon that can get every ribbon (excluding bullshit online ones and championship ones etc) now thanks to dexcuts is the scyther line, let's hope it is in WW

There's a couple more I think, but that really depends on ZA's ribbons. At the very least the Heracross, Ralts, and Snorunt lines are still in the running, not going to check further.

you are of course right, my dumb ass forgot to consider that gen 2/3 mons not being available in gen 1 and 2 does not at all affect their eligibility for the ribbon quest

S'cool, given Let's Go exists it's an easy mistake to make. Let's Go doesn't have any ribbons I'm pretty sure, so it doesn't matter much. BDSP would matter if you evolved something into one of the few crossgen evos/forms from Gen 6-8 (which is what, Sylveon and Alolan Marowak/Exeggutor, which might not even exist?), so LA is the only outlier as far as non-main games go.
