I hope Dialga never gets added to Showdown. Dialga is a terribly unoptimised Pokémon. With base stats of 120 attack and 150 special attack, it seems like it cannot decide whetever it wants to be a physical attacker or special attacker.With the same base stat total, they could have given this Pokémon 260 special attack and 10 attack or 200 speed, 150 special attack and 10 attack to make it a special attack sweeper.What a waste of points.What an unoptimised shitmon with a poor stat spread.I can get if you use it in singleplayer because you find it sexy, which admittedly it is a lot, but in the meta of competetive play dialga has no space with its suboptimal stat spread.

They occupy a space above other legends and yet do nothing with it. Groudon and Kyogre represent the land and sea, and have gameplay warping effects that have kept them relevant for a decade+ because of it, as an example. Dialga and Palkia have a signature move and pressure as an ability and absolutely nothing else.
