What are some random typing mistakes that you make from time to time? For me sometimes I think that fire attacks are not very effective against ground.
>>
>>59173544
sometimes I type individual as induvidual
>>
>>59173631
It took me a second, well played.
>>
>>59173544

I just forget the typing of some Pokemon from time to time is all. Especially things from Legends Arceus or ZA.
>>
>>59173544
Fire attack ARE NVE vs ground though.
>>
Their are times I use there instead of they're.
>>
i will sometimes skip article
>>
>>59173687
no, they're nve vs rock. Fire is neutral vs ground. You can verify this readily.

Sometimes I type Duraladon or Duralodon instead of Duraludon

Ghost's defensive profile
I know what its weak against, but I always find myself second guessing some of its resistances. I'm pretty sure Ghost resists poison. I'm not sure if it resists Bug or Grass. I feel like it does both, but I'm not positive.
No amount of time spent reminding myself has ever really fixed this.

Ghestis.
Ghetsis?
Ghestsis, maybe?
But what about Gehtsis.
Dennis.

Fuck Gustavo.
>>
>>59173544
I can never remember whether Electric deals normal or 50% damage to Rock
>>
I forget my random Pokemon have Prankster, or that I'm fighting a Dark type with Prankster, and it fails and I stare dumbly going WTF for a half second.
Or I use Freeze Dry against a Water/Ice, thinking I have a KO, but it doesn't, and I have to remember the rare lonesome Ice resistance to itself.
>>
>>59174362
Rock/Ground Pokemon confuse me on typing resist alot.
>>
>>59173544
rock being weak to ice
>>
>>59174427
Fuck you, you just made me look.
>>
>>59174430
huh?
>>
>>59174437
Rock isn’t weak to ice. Water =/= ice.
>>
>>59174558
Bruh it’s literally the same fucking thing just a different state of matter
>>
>>59174380
>Dark type with Prankster, and it fails

Wait what? Is this a troll post or real?
>>
I always forget that fire isn't super effective against fairy, it just resists fairy.
>>
>>59174593
Poison and fighting. Bug and poison. Fighting and bug. The weird resistances and not effective is a little random. Poison should be SE vs Fighting.
>>
Grass and Water are both super effective against both Ground and Rock, but I can never remember which one Ice is good against, I just know it's not both of them
>>
>>59174558
Fucking illiterate moron the thread is about misconceptions about type effectiveness. So thinking Ice is SE vs Rock is a common misconception due to many rock types being ground/rock and ground being weak vs Ice.
>>
>>59174569
Since gen VII Dark Pokemon are immune to any move that had it's priority increased by Prankster. It was done to give more counterplay to the prankster supports that were rulling the meta at the time.
>>
>>59174673
Actually it was introduced to buff IncineGOAT and make it immune to prankster bs
>>
>>59174679
I had no idea this was a thing for Dark Pokemon. What the fuck. Why.

I always forget that rock resists poison. every time i pick up pokemon after not playing for a long time, i trick myself into thinking ice will resist my mons' ground moves. i thought mawile was steel/dark for some reason when i was a kid and my first gut instinct is to still treat them like they are when i fight them
>>
>>59173544
Until like Gen 6 I thought Rock was immune to Electric just because almost every rock type in gen 1 also happens to be ground type
>>
>>59174774
same, didn't help the tcg doesn't have them be a separate type either
>>
>>59173911
Duraludon the battery Pokemon
>>
>>59174097
Any type that is SE against itself will always be Under Used or some other fun cup. The opposite case is dragon type which is often used. Move type not always equivalent to pokemon class. So you got your 90 base attack power and the max stat type.

So you got your 90 base attack power which I should call standard move. I used to be good at Pokemanz. Never did smogon champ here though that was funny.
>>
Steel being SE against Fairy makes no sense.
>>
I'll be real I still don't know the Fairy interactions
>>
Are you people 7 years old? How do you not know all the typing matchups?
>>
>>59174625
>Poison should be SE vs Fighting.
I wanted this so bad in gen 5
>>
>>59175093
>industry demolishing nature
>iron warding away fae
>knight in armor > fairytale critters
makes perfect sense doofus
>>
>>59175093
Fae in folklore are weak to cold iron. It is the single type interaction fairy has that is actually logical and inspired instead of being an empty balance decision
>>
>>59175093
You're fucking retarded.
