It also no longer keeps the "badass stick" in its tail but instead up its sleeve which is better for a quick draw and storage with smaller chance of it falling out. But it also explains why its tail is relatively smaller than Braixen.

I really do think that some people see it significantly differently. To me, hearing it be called "piss yellow" is insane because it's clearly something more like a "dark lime green" or something. Reminds me of metals like bismuth. But I've heard so many people call it specifically "piss yellow" over the years that I fully believe people complaining about it are seeing it as similar to urine and not the more green hue I see.Absolutely fascinating. In BW, it's on the very edge of the threshold between yellow and green, but in later entries it seems to move away from green and more toward yellow, and some games make it gold like picrel.

I wonder if the first time you see haxorus (bw vs xy, or maybe in the tcg or anime) will make you view it as more green or yellow and if that's predictable. Could be an entire group of people turned off to the design by one or two bad artists.
