The entire game was just set on a coast.Super Mystery Dungeon had a lame story and the recruit gimmick was lame. Having a bounty board and a job board like in a rugged adventurer town was more fun and I see no reason to recruit every single Pokémon in the dex instead of just the ones I wanna use and the story relevant ones.Explorers of sky wins with the best story campaign, post game, harsh gameplay and beautiful music and very nice cutscene animations.Explorers of Sky > Gates to Infinity (for main story since post agme doesn't exist) > Rescue Team (I only did the main campaign once and no post game so it may be higher but I just didn't play much) > SuperI did not play Wiiware because I cannot speak japanses or the demake.

And it was awesome that they fleshed out every single pokémon in some way. It was easily the best part of the game, next to the map (which was Friend Areas done right).

The job and bounty boards were just cool for roleplaying and immersion because it made you feel like a badass bounty hunter.You can't even use your core squad all the time because they randomly choose to be "unavailable".Salamence trivialising the early game unless you refuse to use it.
