Would anyone have any suggestions on modifications to not make this totally obvious and easy for one Dark type to completely unravel? Open to swapping Golurk for Crab, Golurk's there mainly for Protect-breaking to avoid the opponent running out Trick Room, Farigiraf really is not performing up to snuff except for breaking Fake Outs and Aqua Jets. How to make Tyranitar work better as a carry in doubles? I'd like it to be an unstoppable killing machine but in a lot of my games it acts more like a supportmon by getting rid of rain/sun and occasionally throw 1-2 attacks out there if the multitude of fighting or steel types don't kill it first

Basculegion is far tankier than it has any right to be for how hard it hits. Last Respects really should be base 40 and increase by 40 each time. And even that would be pushing it. It is very easy to go up 4v2 vs Basculegion only for it to turn around the game for your opponent. I dropped Aegislash for Basculegion and it was just an improvement. Oh no I lose out on Wide Guard and King's Shield mind games and I instead gain spammable adaptability Hyper Beam, whatever will I do?

Sometimes setting up is that thing, but especially with the way the formats and the meta work, it's often more effective to be hit trading and trying to position your Pokemon so that they can mow down the opposition without having the boost. I don't play singles much so I can't speak to 3v3 much, but in doubles setup becomes more valuable when the meta moves away from Hyper Offense (less pressure per turn means more opportunities to set up) and less so the more prevalent Hyper Offense is (like now, the beginning of a new format).

MOST successful teams already run both incin and sneasler, but they are also more than just their fake out.

Can someone help me understand damage numbers? I'm new to competitive and I'm trying to understand what I'm not getting here. I Skill Swap'd Pure Power onto my Aqua-Tauros and after doubling its attack stat I assumed a simple Aqua Jet would nuke Sableye but it only did like half its health. After Aqua Jet I just kept spamming Earthquake with Helping Hands but even with that boost things were still surviving. Am I just assuming too much that I'd hit harder than I think I would?
