The Galar fossil guys are really unbalanced since Dracovish is the one that is blatantly wrong while the -zolts seem more like something wearing scavenged remains of a larger creature and Arctovish requires seeing it from specific angles (even the only thing that seems to inhibit functionality is head placement, and flatfish are similar so something like an ambush predator or that specializes in hunting prey by swimming under it could work), and is also the best in battle. I wouldn't be surprised if Dracovish was designed first, and the rest were to justify it.
Imagine if they make Mega ADVZ that are still blatantly fucked up in bone structure, but have additional meat and a new skin texture so it disguises they are are wrong.
